Would anyone be interested in doing a "A Tale of Four Gamers" for the new Warhammer 8th edition?

My idea is this, get a bunch of guys to start this project on next mouth. We will have the first mouth starting off with an battlion and hero(s) of their choice army. Each month after that we will add 500 pts. to our starting army. This project will go on for 4-6 month. After the end of each month will have a little tournament between the players. If you have any ideas to add, I'm happy listen to your input.

I like the idea. I suggest starting it out at 750 points so that if someone would like to play a Bretonian army they can play a legal one. As it is your army standard may not be the general and Bretonians MUST include a paladin BSB. In 500pts the maximum points you can spend on heroes is 125, yet the minimum points for Bretonian army is 140.

What if did Warband rules for the first month, then the to normal rules for the next?

That might work, but keep in mind with adding extra ranks to combat and shooting the game plays significantly faster, and I still recommend starting at 750pts.

okay, I will think more about this idea. Do you know anyone else who would be interesting?

Not off hand, but I will continue to inform people about the forums and try to encourage Fantasy players to post.
