Hey all. This be Ryan. Max told me today that there was going to be a L5R 4E game going to be held sometime? I'm not experienced with the new edition, but I know a lot about the setting, having gotten into it when Wizards released OA for 3E. I'm downloading the demo for 4E right now and would like to join the game if it takes off.

Alex will be running it, but besides that i'm excited! I think we were going to do a one shot campaign, 8 hours or so.

Soooo... that's not entirely accurate. I'm looking into running a L5R 4e rpg, but I don't have any definitive plans yet. Mostly just throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks... then cleaning the wall because sticky walls are no fun. But seriously, if I do have any definitive plans I'll definitely post and see who wants to play.

Okay, cool. I've got the demo's stuff down pat and am checking the Alderac forums for the errata, so I'll probably be prepared by the time you decide to start up.

that would be awesome. If i knew more about the storyline i would be glad to run it, i've got some reading to do though lol

Speaking of which, it seems the Empire's going through a zombie apocalypse right now.

Well yeah, the Empires pretty well constantly been going through a zombie apocalypse, I mean one of the founders of the Crab Clan, zombie-hunters extrodinaire, was totally zombified and had to be hunted down by the other founder.
